Pawnee School Philosophy:
Pawnee School is committed to providing students with a nurturing challenging, and disciplined education that will prepare them for post high school opportunities. Our district recognizes individual expression, creativity and initiative, as well as encourages enthusiasm for life-long learning and an excellence in all endeavors. We will assist each student in developing a positive and realistic self-image that will allow them to maximize their talents and become happy, healthy, and productive members of society

Our district is located in Grover, Colorado.
Grover is located in northeastern Colorado, 58 miles northeast of Greeley in Weld County. Surrounded by Pawnee National Grasslands the region covers 899 square miles of ranches, farms, remote small towns, and prairie. The Pawnee Pioneer Trails Scenic and Historic Byway a 136 mile scenic route passes through Grover on it’s way to Pawnee Buttes, the focal point of the byway. Over 250 species of birds have been recorded in this area and a wonderful birding brochure can be obtained by contacting Pawnee National Grasslands district office.
Grover’s population is approximately 150 and has a grocery store, deli, cafe, post office, bed & breakfast, town park, K-12 school, two churches, senior citizen apartments, Grover Depot Museum, RV park and a volunteer fire department.
The Earl Anderson Memorial Rodeo is held every year on Fathers Day weekend in June and is known as the Biggest Little Rodeo in the West attracting participants nationwide.
