| A Message from the Superintendent
TO PAWNEE SCHOOL DISTRICT PARENTS:
Each year the district puts out a new parent-student handbook that outlines the policy and expectations for students. It is our hope that the handbook will foster closer cooperation and understanding between students, parents and the school. I would ask that you review the handbook and the expectations that we have for behavior and dress. Please discuss these items with your son or daughter.
TO PAWNEE SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS :
Welcome to the 2005-2006 school year at Pawnee School District Re-12. I hope your experience here will be enjoyable and educational. The school years are important ones. They are years when you must be preparing yourself for adult life. You will continue to develop the basic skills you've learned throughout the years as well as to explore new avenues.
Your junior high and high school years are a period of great physical and emotional change. There will be times when you may want to ask a member of the staff for help. That's good! Please remember that all staff members are here to help you.
Be proud of your school! Take good care of it and feel free to make suggestions to improve it. We encourage you to become involved in music, clubs, student government and athletics. Student involvement builds a school's reputation. Remember that you build this reputation. In the past, we have had many reasons to be proud of the Pawnee students, and we are certain that you will continue this tradition and make this an even better school. Best wishes for a successful school year!
